Built by clinicians,
for clinicians
Founded in 2020, Seniza exists to put technology to work so that care professionals can focus on what matters most: their patients.
Reclaiming time for
what matters most
NHS clinicians in England spend an average of 40% of their working day on administrative tasks. Care home staff fill in more forms than they do care plans. SEND support workers carry around clipboards instead of focusing on the young people in their care.
Seniza was born from a simple conviction: that technology should take the administrative burden away from the people delivering care, so they can give more of themselves to the patients who need them.
Our founders — Prof. Dean Mohamedally (CEO) and Dr Atia Rafiq (Chair) — met during Atia's time as an NHS GP and Dean's programme, the UCL's Industry Exchange Network at UCL. Together with a team of clinicians, data scientists and software engineers, they set out to build a product company that would be genuinely different: grounded in clinical need, evidence-based and patient-centred.
The principles we build by
Patient First
Every technical decision starts with a clinical question: does this improve care? If it doesn't, we don't build it.
Evidence-Based
We publish our results, invite scrutiny and only ship products that have passed rigorous clinical evaluation. We hold our claims to the same standard as a peer-reviewed paper.
Transparent
In how we process data, how we charge for our products, and how we engage with patients, commissioners and partners. No hidden agendas.
Work with us
Whether you're a clinician, researcher, investor or health system, we'd love to hear from you.
